1. Material & fabric quality: Look for soft, plush fabric that feels good to the touch. Premium bears use fabrics like minky, velour or faux fur.  

•Stitching & seams: Durable stitching prevents ripping or stuffing coming out. Quality seams matter especially for children’s toys.  

•Safety standards: Especially for young children — non-toxic materials, no small parts that can be choking hazards, and ideally certified safe for toys.  

•Size & weight: Consider how big you want it (a small cuddly bear vs a large statement one) and how manageable it is.  

•Maintenance / washability: Bears can get dirty, so washable features or easier cleaning is a plus.  

•Purpose & recipient: Is it for a baby, young child, adult, decor, gift? The design, size, and features may vary accordingly.
